Data protection

Our privacy policy statements specify the controller, the names of registers, the purpose and legal basis of data processing, the information registered, the disclosure of information and the contact persons. The contact person is responsible for inquiries regarding the register.

Data subjects have the right to know whether information concerning them has been stored in the register. Data subjects can check the information concerning them and can request that inaccurate information be rectified or that, for example, outdated information be erased.

The data subject’s right to inspect data

Data subjects have the right to know what data about them are processed by TELA. The inspection right must be exercised in person or through an authorized agent.

In order to help with locating the data subject’s data, the request should indicate the person’s name, email address and postal address, as well as the context for using the personal data, or whether the inspection covers all the data concerning the person. The inspection request can be sent by email to viestinta@tela.fi.

Rectifying the data

On its own initiative or upon request, the controller removes, corrects or supplements data that are faulty, unnecessary, deficient or outdated with regard to the processing. The request for rectification can be submitted by email to viestinta@tela.fi.

Erasing data from the register

Data can be erased from the register upon the person’s request. The request for erasing the data should be sent to viestinta@tela.fi.

The data subject is entitled to prohibit the processing of data concerning him or her for direct advertising and other direct marketing, as well as for market research and opinion polls. TELA is not a commercial operator.
