Jouko Pölönen to continue as Chairman of our Board of Directors
The Chairman of our Board of Directors is Jouko Pölönen, CEO of Ilmarinen. He was elected by the Annual General Meeting of TELA held in April 7th 2022. Pölönen continues as Chairman for the second year.
The Annual General Meeting also elected the Vice Chairmen and other Members of the Board.
The first Vice Chairman is Risto Murto, CEO of Varma, the second Vice Chairman (and new member of the Board) is Jaakko Kiander, CEO of Keva, and the third Vice Chairman is Pasi Strömberg, Managing Director of Eläkekassa Verso. Of them, Kiander has not previously served as Vice Chairman.
Carl Haglund, future CEO of Veritas, was also elected as a new member to the Board.
In addition, the following persons continue as Board Members: Outi Antila, Director General of Kela; Päivi Huotari, CEO of Mela; Carl Pettersson, CEO of Elo; Jari Puhakka, Managing Director of Seafarers’ Pension Fund and Timo Toropainen, Managing Director of Finnish Pension Funds.
