Information on the breakdown of investments and on returns for the six largest earnings-related pension insurers is complete for the first quarter of 2020.

This group of the six largest pension providers consists of four pension insurance companies and two public-sector pension insurers. These pension insurers’ combined investment assets totalled EUR 184 billion at the end of March.

In addition, the page provides information on the durations of the bonds held by the largest authorized pension providers and information on the open currency position. For the interest rate risk, duration means a modified duration that describes the sensitivity of bond investments to changes in the interest level. The open currency position describes potential risks affecting the investment portfolios of authorized pension providers, especially in terms of the currency risk.
